St. Lucia
Definition:
St Lucia is one of the Windward Islands, a group of islands located off the southeast coast of North America . Due to its small size and relative lack of geological resources, its 2000s economy relies primarily on the sale of banana crops, and the income generated from tourism, with additional input from small-scale manufacturing.
Statistics:
On the beautiful island of St Lucia there are many children in need of care and education. There are some day centers available but these have very few resources.
Solution:
Cindy’s Heart is spearheaded by Cynthia St. Helen, a native of St. Lucia to provide assistance to families in St. Lucia. The program will donate school bags and supplies, assist with Easter and Christmas clothing, shoes and toys to less fortunate children in Saint Lucia.
